Bible Verses

Heres just a few bible verses which I have found in my travels that have been either encouraging, challenging or interesting. If you have any suggestions or other verses which you want me to add, then please leave a comment :) 


(Most of the verses are in the ESV, some are NIV)


Joel 2:32
³² And everyone who calls
   on the name of the LORD will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
   there will be deliverance,
   as the LORD has said,
even among the survivors
   whom the LORD calls.


Isaiah 40:10
¹⁰fear not, for I am with you;
   be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
   I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Ephesians 2:8-9

⁸For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, ⁹ not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Romans 5:8-9
⁸but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ⁹Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.


John 16:33
